Giant Nuthatch (Sitta magna), Doi Lang, Thailand

The Giant Nuthatch is the largest member of its family, and is about the size of a Hairy Woodpecker. It is found only in old-growth pine forests in northern Thailand, northeastern Myanmar, and southern Yunnan. It is endangered due to habitat loss.
